Transparent LED display glass
Display film that turns a shopfront or lobby glazing into a screen while keeping the view through it.
- Keeps daylight and sightlines through the glass
- Retail shopfronts, lobbies and showrooms
- Content scheduled remotely
What it is
A transparent LED layer applied to glazing, so the glass works as a display without becoming a solid screen. From inside, the view and the daylight are largely preserved. From outside, you get motion and content at street level.
Where it earns its cost
Retail frontage on a busy street, hotel and office lobbies, showrooms, and exhibition stands. It replaces a solid screen that would otherwise block a window you paid for.
What to plan for
Brightness has to match orientation, and content needs an owner. A transparent display running a stale loop reads worse than no display at all, so agree who updates it before it is installed.
Frequently asked questions
Is it readable in daylight?
Yes, but brightness has to be specified against the actual orientation. A south-facing shopfront in Riyadh needs a considerably brighter panel than an internal lobby.
